Warm humor, vivid art, and a solid message about giving.

This book warms my heart, and not just with dragon fire. A little boy is trying to teach his pet dragon about Christmas spirit and presents, and everything. They do odd jobs around town to help save for presents, but realizes that he already has so much more than others, and decides to use his present money to help others. Ahhhhhhhh. So absolutely wonderful. I loved it all. ( )

Then name of this book is Me and My Dragon: Christmas Spirit. It is written by David Biedrzycki. It is fantasy. This is a book about a boy and his dragon. They learn a lot about the Christmas Spirit and the gift of giving unto others. I really enjoyed this book. It is a great way to teach about the importance of giving. The illustrations are cute and funny. This book has a great message about loving one another. I think children will love this book and find it very entertaining and funny. ( )

With hilarious illustrations, we see a boy and his dragon take on odd jobs to earn money to buy presents. While the dragon is quietly philanthropic, the boy is at first oblivious to the true spirit of the Christmas holiday. Funny and sweet with a lovely holiday message.
