Der er ingen diskussionstråde på Snak om denne bog. I really enjoyed the story and characters in this book. This is a Re-Listen kind of a book. The Narrator is so good, I don't usually like listening to male Narrators because the female voices are never right, but John Sharian did an excellent job with all the character voices. Happy to have found this series. ( ![]() This is one of those books where I went 'oh, this'll be a quick read' because I didn't know what I was getting into. And then I devoured this and the rest of the series in the space of like a week. I could not put them down. This is one of those series where I know if I'd read it as a teenager I would have gone out of my mind in love with the characters. It's so delicious and dark. I'm ashamed to say, I couldn't even finish it. Reread 1/30/2017 First off, I'd recommend having all three books handy because your going to want to know what's next in the lives of these characters. This first book is very dark, with Jaenelle living a traumatic childhood and Saetan and Daemon trying to teach and protect her, while coming to grips with her vast power. There are rough moments in this story, detailing the abuse of children, making this a very powerful read at times.
"Lavishly sensual...a richly detailed world based on a reversal of standard genre cliches." Belongs to SeriesIndeholdt i
