This book would be good to read during an upper elementary science unit. Because you can skip around to different parts, you could even use it to entertain and inform second and third grade students. This book contains a lot of captivating images and good information. It explores volcanic layouts, different types, eruptions, and effects. It also contains a glossary of terms.
