Laura Numeroff is known for many different children's books including "If you give a mouse a cookie." I didn't even know that she had books like this and it's really neat that she does. Kids that may have friends or family with cancer can read this book to help them cope with the situation and it may even make them feel a little better. Another thing that I really liked about the book was at the beginning it explains what the Susan G. Komen Foundation is. It is important for us to know that there are organizations like this to help raise money for people with this disease. I know that this book can be a help to so many kids and families that are struggling to cope with a tough disease like this. ( )
