Jones is finally graduating Kindergarten and she wants to wear her cap and gown all the time! As a first grader does though keeping that white cap and gown clean does not go as planned. This book goes through Junie B Jones life as a 1st grader and her graduation day. I LOVE Junie B Jones books. The way that Barbara Park writes so well from the point of view of a young child is a big component of this book in my opinion. These books are funny for younger kids, and the things that Junie B gets herself into are funny, but relatable for kids as well. I wouldn't read this as an educational book but having this in my room library, or even using it as a "fun" read for a brain break from lessons would be an awesome idea. This book would be great to teach voice because Juni B. Jones is the narrator and because she is in first grade, her grammar is not always correct which is important to show students that it is okay to tastefully incorporate incorrect grammar for a character. This book also has a theme about nervousness which many students can relate to. ingen anmeldelser | tilføj en anmeldelse
