I think we have all known a child like David. He is high-energy and prone to trouble. This is such a fun series and I personally know many kids who love these books. I really enjoyed how it was written in what seemed to be a child's handwriting. I can see the appeal this character has to younger students. I found him quite funny myself. I enjoyed the illustrations, though I did find David's teeth to be a bit creepy. (  ) slserpas | May 4, 2020 | David is always getting into trouble at school. From running in the halls to skipping the lunch line, David is always doing something wrong. The teacher finally has enough and makes David stay after school. This would be a great story to read to students when starting school. The students will be able to see that doing the wrong thing brings consequences but doing the right thing can bring rewards.
