I think that the first book - Uncaged - was better, but it has been too long since I read it for me to recall. Overall, I found this book to be somewhat less engaging, not your standard Sandford page-turner. Still, a good one and now I will have to pick up a copy of the last and finish the series.
The story is well thought out. I like the diverse set of characters. And the actions and scenes are well played. I’m not exactly sure where this fell flat, but these books could make a really good movie or a good Netflix limited series. ( )
