Working a late shift in her mother's lab, she becomes a witness to a break in by three of the most notorious villains. Although she doesn't have any superhero powers, she holds her own using the training her best friend Rebel taught her. While the villains are naturally conceived as evil, Kenna distrusts them even more because one of them killed her father when she was younger. However, things get even crazier after her run in with Draven, Nitro, and Dante at the lab. It turns out Dante's twin brother has supposedly been kidnapped by the superhero league, and Rebel plays her own part in it as well. To complicate matters even more, Kenna's mother suddenly disappears, and Kenna realizes that the line between good and evil might not be so black and white after all. Together, the five of them have to work together to uncover the hidden plans of the League's leader, Mr. Malone, while saving Deacon and Kenna's mom. Her dad was a hero--one of the most powerful ones, until he was killed. Her mom is a scientist, and has developed a serum that makes Kenna immune to anyone's powers. It keeps her safe, but it's a secret, can you imagine the uses for war? Kenna finds herself in the middle of a break in at the lab, and discovers that her world isn't as black and white as she once thought.
