This was an okay book - well written in that it really gave you a feel for the town and the characters in it. I initially figured that it was primarily supposed to be a mystery book (and in some respects, it was), but it really seemed to focus quite a bit on the coming-to-terms relationship between the narrator and his father (if that's the right way to put it). I liked the storyline, although it seemed to drag in some parts. All in all it was a good read...satisfying ending. ( )
