In this slim volume she discusses the importance of our cullinary tradition as it relates to our New Zealand identity, and chronicles the development of classic New Zealand recipe collections, such as the 'Edmonds Cookery Book', as well as evaluating what constitutes 'treasures' - do hand-written recipe collections qualify? The book closed with an interesting section on 'Plagiarism and the Cullinary
