The main character wakes up following a nightmare not knowing anything about herself or her life, including her name. She does know that she has been kidnapped and is about to be sold by the motorcycle club that is holding her captive. The president of the club not only seems familiar, but there seems to be a connection between them. However, he seems to only feel contempt for her, accusing her of trying to impersonate the love of his life who is dead.
This story is less about an MC and more about a woman trying to find her memories of the past. The idea that the main character doesn't know about her past is repeated to the point that it becomes annoying. In addition, we are told over and over how the president of the MC is trying to get vengeance on those who have done him wrong. This book is long with almost no action and characters who constantly talk about their problems. The story could have been much shorter and accomplished the same result. The mystery of who the girl is and what her connection is to the president of the motorcycle club is the only redeeming element of this story. ( )

I can't seem to wrap my head around this book. The lies, the secrets, the love and hate. The backstory. I knew that Pepper would throw me through a loop, as always... But as always, she had my head spinning. I am not surprised she shocked me again. It's what she does. Shock and awe... Those of us who are masochists thrive for Pepper's books... We beg for more. We need more.

This book is full of twists, turns, love, hate, lust, angst, and lots and lots of holy s**t moments!!! If you are a Pepper fan, this is definitely going to be one of your favorites. She has really out-done herself in this one. Bring on Sin & Suffer! ( )

This is a dark tale of a love that was derailed by an evil man against his own son. Its hard not to go into details as it would spoil the book being all the revelations are not done until the end and yes it’s a cliffhanger book.

These two started off in such different places than where a horrible twist of fate had lead them. A man who in life started out as Arthur Kilian has had to become a man named Kill who at the age of 18 was thrown in jail for the murder of those he loved and betrayed by his own flesh and blood. He meets a man who becomes his mentor in prison and sets him on a new course in life but one that he still vows to get his revenge in. The heroine doesn’t know who she is for most of the book. She just get glimpses of bits and pieces of a life she doesn’t remember. All she knows is there is something about the man who has captured her, it seems he not only has her body but also her heart – if she could just remember why.

If you’ve read this author before you know she likes to mess with the mind. At the end of this book we are given huge revelations as to what happened in the past for these two and then something big happens and to be continued. Sigh. Yes we have to wait to find out the fate of these two.

I didn't know what to expect as each of Pepper's novels takes you into another world. The story of Kill and Cleo/Sarah is amazing. The twist and turns is one heck of a journey. I will warn you the cliff hanger is one you want to scream what.....
