Exploring stems is an informational text that explains why plants have stems and what they do. It relates stems to straws and shows you that you eat stems every day. It explains how stems are around us everywhere. I liked this book because it was simple, and you could possibly connect it to another book like the pumpkin seed book. Start out with the pumpkin pumpkin book and then move into this book and go more in depth about sprouts turning into stems and what plants need to live. Because this book is mainly about stems themselves and not everything else a plant needs to live, I would use this with an experiment of putting a white flower in water that has food coloring in it, to see if the flower will use that water. It is a fun experiment to connect with this read aloud. ( ) ingen anmeldelser | tilføj en anmeldelse
