This is THE COMPREHENSIVE guide to Glen Cook's Black Company series. This book offers an exhaustive look at the world & characters of the novel. It also contains detailed summaries of the novels up to it's publication. On the gaming front, it's biggest addition to the D20 roleplaying system is a free-form magic sub-system as well as modifications to accommodate squad and army level combat.
The Black Company Setting book could almost be it's own role playing game. It is highly recommended to anybody interested in D20 Fantasy (with much grit) and the series created by Glen Cook. ( )
