Ingen Der er ingen diskussionstråde på Snak om denne bog. ![]() ![]() For a supposed history this is so mind boggling not. No citations, no sources, no research. And the inaccuracies. No self-respecting historian would do such a thing. And the considerable overuse of the word "godly" just puts my teeth on edge because it's term used by those that spiritually abuse others as a means of manipulation and control. Fail. The full title of this book is "Rebellion: The History of England from James I to the Glorious Revolution" and that is a mouthful. I enjoyed it but found that I didn't know enough of the period to let the book stand on its own. I supplemented sections of the book with YouTube videos and articles on the internet. A YouTuber I have found invaluable is hteysko. She uploads "The Tudor Minute" and "Renaissance English History Podcast". Also, anything I could find narrated by Dr. David Starkey was a plus. Now I was all set to listen to that section of Rebellion again. I think I listened to each CD at least twice. I feel like I have been through a college course! I feel quite satisfied. ingen anmeldelser | tilføj en anmeldelse
