It is a great story of embarrassment and wanting to be normal. Also throughout the book she explains that her being deaf is a super power. It is a great book to demonstrate what it feels like to be in a deaf persons shoes. 3.I will definitely recommend this book in the future to my students. It's a little bit more elementary than the other graphic novel's I've read, so I would use this book for 3-5 graders. I thought it did a really good job at giving us a good look into Cece's life and her struggles. The book is filled with so many moments that everyone can definitely relate on when they were in elementary school.
