I would highly recommend this book for high school reading. ![]() Jim's quest leads him to a Vietnam vet who seems a little feisty in the beginning. After the Vet decides to help and makes some inquiries about the names on the cards, this book really became hard to put down. This is the second part of Webb's story but you don't need to have read the first one to enjoy this one, because I haven't read the first one yet either. ![]() ingen anmeldelser | tilføj en anmeldelse
Belongs to Series
Jim Webb's pursuit of the truth about his grandfather's role in the Vietnam War puts him squarely in the sights of someone high up in the US military who wants certain events from that war left in the past. Webb goes on the run in the American Deep South with Lee, a Vietnam vet, trying to smoke out the man they call the Bogeyman. The Bogeyman may be powerful and smart, but Webb and Lee, with the help of a few of Lee's old army buddies (and one motorcycle-riding girl), are ready to take him down.
