Read the story and listen to it at the same time with this book and CD combo! Hm, okay, that sounds far too infomercial. I actually do like the combination or oral and written storytelling. My daughters are very engaged with the books when we read them, and since they are both in various stages of early literacy, I appreciate that they have that support in matching the sound of the word with its printed form. This book is pulled from the Tinker Bell movie about the pirate fairy, but since the story is of secondary importance to the overall experience, I generally just concern myself with whether the story is decent or not. This one is decent. It neatly expresses the main plot of the movie, and the illustrations are as colorfully adorable as the three-dimensional originals. Another fine book in the read along series. ( )
