Chastity Pureheart and her mother have been on the run as long as Chass can remember. With each new town, there is a stop at the library where new names are selected based on characters from a fiction book. Chastity is now in high school and is tired of running. When her mother disappears, Chass must figure out what to do; does she run like she always has, this time on her own, or does she stay and try to figure out where her mother went and why they've always been on the run. The story is pretty straight forward with enough action to keep the reader involved. Fake ID is the first book in a series about Chastity and her mother called Hunted. ( ) I liked Fake ID. This review was written for LibraryThing Member Giveaways. I received this book as a member giveaway. It is the story of a teen girl who has spent her whole life moving from town to town, never with the same identity. And when her mom goes missing, she works to find her not really knowing who she herself is. This is a fast paced, easy read. Kind of unrealistic in some parts- which I had a hard time with as a good mystery for me is one that is well written but still believable enough. Sorrels did a great job developing the story line however I felt like the ending was rushed. Overall I would classify this as a pretty good read especially for a young adult who likes mysteries. ingen anmeldelser | tilføj en anmeldelse
