So great! I love Beauty & the Beast re-tellings, and this was no exception! I enjoyed Hawk and Skye very much. They had wonderful chemistry, and their story was very touching. I also enjoyed reading the secondary story about Cornelius. I am so glad I won this book through the Goodreads Giveaway! Otherwise I might not have known it was out to read it. I can't wait to see what Kate and co. have in store for Quinn! (

I really enjoyed this book! Although I have not read the other books in this series, that did not hinder the storyline. I will, however, go back to read this series in its entirety. (

I felt like I had missed crucial details when starting to read this book, which is possible as the book is part of a series. The beginning felt rushed and the characters felt like it was assumed I was already familiar with them. By the time I reached the first sex scene around 50 pages in, I felt like none of the relationship was earned. I guess I just like a little bit more of a slow burn. DNF. (

This book is perfect for those who love historical romance. The heroine is independent and determined, the hero, dark and brooding. Nicole Jordan did a great job with this story! (

For all the promises the title implied no secrets were ever revealed. Unless you consider the traditional break of an older female never discussing sex with an unmarried young lady as revealing secrets, which was pretty much the basis of the storyline. As a long time reader of period romances, I found far too many clichéd lines, areas of the story that seemed rushed and other areas that appeared glossed over. Steamy sex scenes were introduced too quickly but became a welcomed interlude. If you truly enjoy a good period romance, pass on this one. (
