"New York Times bestselling author Jude Deveraux returns to the magnificent, sunny island in For All Time, the second novel in her Nantucket Brides trilogy--this time featuring the next generation of her beloved family of Montgomery-Taggerts. The wedding of Alix Madsen and Jared Montgomery is a glorious affair at an elegant little chapel in the woods, followed by dinner and dancing, all while moonlight blankets the festivities in a romantic glow. While most guests are fixed on the happy couple, Jared's cousin Graydon can't look away from a bridesmaid, Toby Wyndam. It's not just her quiet beauty that enthralls him or the way she makes him laugh. Toby possesses the truly remarkable ability of being able to distinguish Graydon from his identical twin brother, Rory. According to family legend, such a gift marks her as Graydon's True Love. But Graydon knows there is no possible way that they can ever be together, for he is heir to the Lanconian throne and is to marry a noble woman who has been chosen for him. Yet, intrigued by Toby, he asks her to help him hide on Nantucket for a week away from regal responsibilities. In exchange, he'll assist her with planning acclaimed novelist Victoria Madsen's lavish wedding. Since they both know their union is impossible, the pair promises that they will never be more than just friends. But there's more going on between Graydon and Toby than her unique power to tell him apart from his twin. At work are forces beyond their control, which are ruled by time itself. Combine that with the magical island of Nantucket, and a seductive spell is cast over Graydon and Toby. If they are to be together, they must change what once was, as well as what will be. Praise for Jude Deveraux and True Love "A new Jude Deveraux novel means a very late night turning the pages straight through to the delicious end."--Susan Elizabeth Phillips "True Love, with its star-crossed lovers and twisty plot, evokes everything that makes Nantucket so special--the history, the atmosphere, the secrets, and the magic."--Susan Wiggs "Deveraux is a master storyteller, and her books fairly shimmer with excitement and adventure, making her one of the most popular women's fiction writers today."--Wichita Falls Times Record News "A beautiful island, a sexy man and plenty of secrets--this is a wonderful writer at her best."--Susan Mallery "Destined to be an instant romance classic. [It] will haunt you long after you read it."--Pittsburgh Post-Gazette "Deveraux is at her spellbinding romantic finest."--Booklist"--… (mere)

I have always enjoyed Deveraux's Montgomery-Taggert stories and this book is no exception. This is the second in the Nantucket Brides series. In this book Toby is just finishing with her friend Jared & Alix's wedding where she has been introduced to Graydon Montgomery. Graydon needs a place to stay for a week so Toby offers her roommates bedroom since the roommate will be gone for awhile. Of course there's more to Graydon's story, like he's a prince and they are connected in past lives but rather than thinking we'll of course, this is a romance of course - wait and read the book because Deveraux writes a story that while a plot may have been done before not nearly as well or with such humor and feeling. An enjoyable read that will me you want to read the third in the series, and f you haven't already, the first. ( )

Sigh. Everyone wants a Montgomery or a Taggert, don't they?
This one happens to be the Crown Prince of Lanconia, a descendant of JT and Aria from Deveraux's The Princess. I really love how Deveraux keeps bringing back characters from her previous books/series and tying them all in together.
Anyway, Toby is, like, the least pretentious gorgeous person ever, and so she treats this Prince guy like a Regular Guy, which he obviously falls for, but can't marry because of his arranged Royal Engagement back home. Also, there's some fun ghostly flashbacks to their previous incarnations on Nantucket Island, which is unlikely and incredible, but I'll suspend disbelief because it's just so adorable and this is not supposed to be the most realistic genre anyway, right?
This is a must for any Deveraux fan, but those new to her books might want to start at the very beginning... ( )

Another wonderful book by Jude Deveraux. I always love every word she writes. The time travel and reincarnation theme going on in the book was very interesting and I loved every part where they were in the 1800s. I am very happy that this book had Lanconians in it as I have loved every other book where Jude Deveraux has written about the royal Lanconian family (The Maiden and The Princess). I really hope she writes some more Lanconia books in the future. The Nantucket setting is just as wonderful in the book as it was in True Love and I loved reading all the continuations on the side characters stories from the first book. Graydon and Toby were both wonderful characters and I really loved their story and all the bumps and travels along the way to their happy ending. I also enjoyed the inclusion of Millie in the end. Next book on my "to buy" list is Ever After and I am looking forward to reading a Taggert story again. :D ( )

Up until now "Knight in Shining Armor" has been my favorite Jude Deveraux book. I just finished reading "For All Time", and it's the best book from this author by a mile.

I haven't read the first book in the trilogy, but it didn't matter at all. This story is simply amazing. The plot weaves in and out of past and present, throw in a handsome prince, identical twins switching places and all kinds of plot twists are the result.

Truly a wild ride, I couldn't put this book down. ( )
