This review was written for LibraryThing Member Giveaways.
I'll give it 3 stars because it's not bad, but it's nothing new or brilliant. It's less of a book and more of a written lecture or a student paper, but without any sort of citations regarding who he is citing. It is full of generalizations and slightly off metaphors.

Overall, a quick read, only about 10 pages. Some of it is good, time told advise, and some of it is completely disregarding outside factors (such as when he is talking about anxiety and, essentially, just says that an individual is out of practice and needs more experience in regards to situations that cause them anxiety). I received this book through Member Givaways. I wish I hadn't.

This short short essay is not a book, and it certainly isn't new or exciting. Hoary old ideas in new paragraphs. Might have been mechanically spun, for all I know.

The text is poorly presented with no subtitles or section breaks. Mr. Diamond contradicts himself when he talks about goal setting.

An interesting point for LT readers is that Mr. Diamond has published a review of his own, giving a 5* rating that will skew the stats upward. Also, he brazenly sends emails to book recipients asking them not to post poor reviews. Write a good book and you won't get bad reviews, Mr. Diamond. ( )
