This is a fun little story, almost pure erotica, with plenty of sexual tension, teasing with plugs of various sizes, and explosive action once Blake and Archer get down to the main event. One that Blake has waited for over a year to happen. Taking anticipation to a whole new level, this way of celebrating the final consummation of their relationship fits well with how this particular Master and sub run their lives.

From what I was able to glean about their backgrounds, Blake was quite young when he came to live with Archer, taken from a club where he was dancing for money, and given the opportunity to get a degree. That sort of conscientious support, to make sure that Blake always had a choice, may be what delayed the final act of commitment for so long. Blake is more than ready now, but he also enjoys the waiting, and needs the pain to find his subspace. His thoughts on the matter were quite clear, and the tension between wanting penetration now, and being made to wait even longer, added to the spice of the story.

Archer is quite masterful (pun intended), and knows exactly what Blake needs. Or does he? When the depth of Blake's insecurities becomes obvious to him, he is quickly willing to adapt his style. "Punishment" may have been the wrong language to use for a playful situation, especially with someone like Blake, who is seriously hung up on always doing everything right. Archer realizes that teasing a perfectionist requires a different style, and I really liked that.

If you like highly erotic stories where the emphasis is more on the physical than the emotional (but still want a touch of feelings as well), if you enjoy D/s situations that involve a lot of teasing and delayed gratification, and if plugs and playing with them are your thing, then you will probably like this short story.
