This last book in the Unwinding dystology keeps up the unrelenting fast pace of the first three books. The bad guys get what they deserve and the good guys ultimately win...just not in the way you might expect. I highly recommend this series...although it could definitely cause nightmares in teenagers! ( )

Undivided: Last of the Unwind Dystology.

Undivided keeps the same pace as the rest of the books in the series, tying up lose ends and bringing closure to the Unwind series, while leaving an ending open for readers to ponder.

Fantastic finish to an epic little series that knew when to finish.

Neal Shusterman has quickly found his way to my top authors after reading this series and I might just have to find more books by him after completing the Everlost series. ( )

What a great ending to a creepy and thought-provoking dystopian series where teens ages 13-17 can now be "unwound" or chopped up for body parts if their parents consent. I really loved the way Neal Shusterman wrapped up the arcs for each of our main characters, Connor, Risa, and Lev, and also the way that he dove into the history of how such a world could have evolved. It seems far-fetched, and probably wouldn't ever become a widespread reality, but certainly makes for a scary what-if.

This was a particularly satisfying ending to a series because we got to see our main three characters earn their happy endings, even if they weren't perfect endings. Connor was unwound and will have to recover from that. Una and Cam have a long road ahead. Lev has wounds he'll have to live with, but they all completed the arcs they were meant to and found a satisfying end. As did bad characters, even if that end was somewhat grisly (won't go there.) All in all, this was an excellent series, highly recommended. 4.5/5 stars. ( )

A satisfying ending to an excellent series by Shusterman, which despite a number of twists and surprises was a bit too predictable in the end. Some broken alliances and some newly formed ones. Kudos for a very creative idea, strong characters and solid writing. I think this series was better than The Hunger Games. Definitely more consistent. ( )

I was never going to amount to much anyway, but now, statistically speaking, there's a better chance that some part of me will go on to greatness somewhere in the world. I'd rather be partly great than entirely useless.
