Ignited by Ruthie Knox is the fifth in a set of five serial novels about Roman and Ashley. There is another set of five novels that will be released March 2014 giving us a brief holiday from our Holiday! *sigh* An almost "moment" in a pond in North carolina has muddied up the waters that Roman and Ashley are trying to navigate on this all or nothing road trip. They've kissed, they've had hands on each other. They're affected. So now what? Well, now a trip to see a curmudgeonly old man and his brother at their campground, and then, start a fire. I love this author's characters very much. They are so very human and have a great number of faults that make them so much more approachable as a reader. It also makes you want to wring their bloody necks from time to time, but thats all a sign of a good book! I can't believe I have to wait till March now to read what happens next. I curse and praise you, damned creator of serial novels! ingen anmeldelser | tilføj en anmeldelse

Ruthie Knox's eBook original serial, Roman Holiday, resumes in Episode 5. While Ashley's home and Roman's career hang in the balance, new temptations flash like fireflies in the night sky. As the deadline for the destruction of Sunnyvale looms, Roman Díaz and Ashley Bowman find themselves cut off from the outside world and edging closer to truths neither is ready to accept. It's stupid to fall into the arms of the enemy, but when the passion between them ignites, Roman and Ashley can't convince themselves to be smart. Sometimes the flames are so enticing, it's worth getting burned. Praise for Roman Holiday "A new episode every week? Roman, oh you poor, sweet thing. I'm so glad you decided to unburden yourself and let someone else truly see you. Congrats on taking the risk to be vulnerable.
Ashley, this is the first time I've actually liked you. You finally got out of your own head and saw that you're not the only one who was let down by family. You saw that you're not the only person to be hurt. Points to you for not playing pain Olympics with Roman and just letting him talk. The silent approach was the best thing you could have done. You're learning. ( )
