Julie Greene loves flings. Loves steamy first dates, sizzling first kisses, and every now and then, that first sexy romp between the sheets. Comfy pants, sleepy Sundays, movie nights on the couch? Shudder. But when Julie gets assigned the hardest story of her career-a first-person account of that magical shift between dating and "I do"-she'll need a man brave enough to give a total commitment-phobe a chance at more. Normally, Mitchell Forbes would be exactly that man. A devastatingly hot workaholic who tends to stay in relationships for far too long, he should be the perfect subject for Julie's "research." But what Julie doesn't know is that Mitchell is looking to cut loose for once in his life. And the leggy journalist notorious for avoiding love is exactly the type of no-strings fling he's looking for. In other words, Mitchell is the polar opposite of what Julie needs right now. And, at the same time, he's exactly what she wants. Contains mature themes.… (mere)

Superfun light read. If you liked the movie, "How to loose a guy in 10 days", you will like this book.
Pretty much along similar line. Some nice dialogues, humorous situations and all in all a good rom com. Perfect for a light clear your head easy reading. ( )

I received this book from Net Galley in exchange for a review. Easy and quick read. Two people find each other and though it starts as a "game" for both of them, it quickly progresses to levels neither were expecting. Overall, it held to the basic romance structure down to the HEA. I think my favorite part was getting to know Mitchell and the book supporting that you never know who a person is just by looking at them. Mitchell could easily be a book boyfriend. ( )

4 made-me-cry stars. Full review to follow. ( )

This book was about two complex individuals coming together in extraordinary circumstances and fighting to be together.

Oh no. No, it isn't.
Julie's sassy and lonely, vulnerable under her exterior. She's a serial dater, a relationship neophyte.
Mitchell's boring and perfect. He's got dimples and glasses, and beautiful eyes. He's serial monogamist, looking for Mrs. Right.

Somehow they overcome a ridiculous bet to fuck her and leave her and a story to "be in a relationship instead of just dating." GASP! IT works.

I didn't object to the book, really. It was just boring and I'll forget it by tomorrow night. ( )

If you watched How to Lose a Guy after Ten Days you'll probably enjoy this. However in my opinion it was too similar to the movie so i didn't enjoy it as much as i would have if i've never seen it. But it was cute, short and fast paced so overall a solid three stars. ( )
