John Lackland's son came back to his hometown,Longpuddle,in thirty years. In a wagon, villagers told him some stories about what happened while he was in America. In this book, four stories of them are written in detail. All stories are interesting. I like this book because each story is not serious, and heart-warming. I want to have such a hometown and friends who can talk about old days with. This book consists of four short stories. In the wagon which goes to Longpuddle, many people told story in the town each other. About wedding, love, chapel... they listened to true stories, and they were surprised, compressed, laghing. I like the first story, because it makes me laghing. Tony likes girls, so that they couldn't chose the true person who gets marry with him. He let three girls ride the wagon, they meet each other, and of course they got fight! I think that men should love with one women. There are 4 episords about the village of Longpuddle. That village's villaders know each other well. So in the wagon for Longpuddle village, passengers talks about thier village's stories. That episords are almost interesting. And my most favorite story is Tony's. I think he was stupid, and the last of this story is great satisfaction! ingen anmeldelser | tilføj en anmeldelse

I like the story of the church band leads up to stopping playing. What a long sermon makes them sleepy is interesting.I haven't ever listened to a sermon, but I can imagine a teacher talks long long time.So it is very real,I think. ( )
