Very good all-round look at usability and user-centred design. The approach is very process-oriented and as a result covers a lot of ground in a reasonably short book. The appendix includes a neat set of tools for each step (though it would be more useful to be able to access electronic versions of the forms).

I own both the printed and Kindle versions. There are some formatting issues with the latter (figures, side-boxes and tables are split across pages and frequently appear out of sequence). Also, some of the bullets are peculiarly aligned. However the content is all good so no real complaints.

Another minor quibble is that some of the example websites have dated, but given the book is nearly ten years old I'll let that pass.

Highly recommended as both a quick read and a valuable resource for dipping back into when planning out a web project. ( )
