But in planning meticulously for old age, many people run the risk of allowing middle age to pass them by. Doris Day expressed this fear when she said, “the really frightening thing about middle age is the knowledge that you'll grow out of it.”   Forget me knot A familiar condition of middle age is to be struck by amnesia and deja-vu simultaneously, in which case you will have the uncomfortable feeling that you have forgotten the same thing before.… (mere)
