A girl with no memory, hidden in plain sight ... A boy with no hope, spiraling into Darkness ... Only one knows the truth, and only one has the power to save them. Autumn doesn't know why she remembers a boarding school she's never visited, or why her reflection is sometimes that of a ghost named Summer. She struggles to recover her memories and understand the warnings conveyed through her magick. Caught between the Turner twins, she isn't certain who to trust: Decker, the mysterious Master of Dark, who makes her heart catch, or Beck, the cautious Master of Light, whose touch soothes her pain. Unable to recover from Summer's death, Decker slowly surrenders to the Dark. The guilt he feels when he falls for Autumn - and betrays Summer's memory - drives him farther from the Light, until he completely loses control and takes the souls of Light witchlings. As the protector of Light, Beck is caught between his allegiance to his twin and his vow to protect new witchlings. He must keep the Darkness from consuming his brother, for if Decker fails, he'll take down the only person who has a chance of saving them all.… (mere)

Hokay! I am now caught up and diving into Winter Fire.

This is a fantastic series that I am simply gobbling up. I love witch books. I love young adult. I love paranormal. I love the tortured bad boy thing. I love how involved and adoring the family members are of one another. The mantra "one day at a time" is perfect. Life isn't perfect; you can ONLY take it one day at a time.

Dawn is such an evil, conniving bitch. I am hoping for final resolution there in book 3, although I know another book is coming in this trilogy turned saga.

I feel so lucky to have discovered so many great new-to-me authors this year and Lizzy Ford is definitely at the top of the list. I was reviewing my kindle purchases and wanted to slap myself for not having cracked open my "MUST READ NOW FOLDER". I went on a buying spree a few months ago and that folder has easily 50 books in it - books that were free, books that were not, books that were gifted. HOW COULD I NOT HAVE GOTTEN TO THIS FOLDER EARLIER? Well, now I did. :) ( )

I received this book in exchange for a honest unbiased review.
Autumn Storm by Lizzy Ford

The author is killing me in how she leaves the endings DYING FOR MORE!!! It is a powerful, magical, awe-inspiring ending. I literally couldn't put the book down stayed up late to finish it!! The author has out done herself again!!! I loved the way it was written and love the story line. It is so unpredictable to me, I just can't help wanting and begging for more!! I can't wait to read Autumn Dawn next!! This is being put in my favorite books!! I just love the characters and you can watch as they develop through the series and change to become more mature. Wonderfully enjoyable read!!

This book starts where Summer Nights novella left off. Autumn Nathanial has no memory of her past, scars from head to toe from an accident she doesn't remember, and is being haunted by a dark haired girl she has been seeing in the mirror since she woke up. Every time a memory might surface she gets a migraine and nose starts to bleed. When she starts school at a boarding place for magical witchlings, she has a vague sense that she has been there before and has meet some of the people she is in contact with. Why can't she figure it out? Who is this dark haired girl? When she meets the Master of the Dark, Decker, she can't shake that they are meant to be. Why is that? I give this book a 5 star review!! I loved the story and the characters, but the Kindle version I had was just awful formatting and grammar. It made it hard for me to read that way. ( )

What if you are granted a second chance, but have to start over with no memory of who you are, except a weird déjà vu feeling when you see certain people or places? Summer fell off the cliff at Miner's Point in Book 1 of the Witchling trilogy & should have died, at least that's what everyone thinks happened. Instead she is reincarnated as Autumn & sent back to the place Summer died, a boarding school for children with magic in their blood. There she will be tested to see if she can restore the balance between light and dark magic. Everything is at stake, yet the person whose destiny is to save the day, has no idea who she is or what happened the last time.

Lizzy Ford hits it out of the park again, giving the reader a completely new take on familiar characters. I could not put this book down & am anxiously awaiting #3 in the series. ( )
