This story has been exciting from the beginning of the first book, but this sequel has catapulted it to new levels!

Seraphina, as always, has found trouble and adventure, in ways that seem impossible. As much as she makes me shake my head, and bite my nails in worry, I love her determination and independence. Bishop has become a guy I really enjoy reading about- I love finding out what he's going to do next, especially in reaction to the things Sera does, and the scenarios she causes. The other part of her Wandering Team, Samantha, has grown on me quite a bit as well. She's tough, for being so young, and has a heart I admire.

This adventure keeps getting better with each book, and I can't wait to finish this trilogy. I love Michelle Warren's writing, and the way she's created this world-behind-the-world. This is definitely a book I'd recommend to any YA Paranormal Fantasy fan, although I'd say you should for sure read Wander Dust first, so you know what's going on in better details.

**Review written for an originally posted on my blog, Book Bliss. I received a copy of this book in exchange for an unbiased and honest review**

Review: 5 stars

General: This sequel surly delivers! I will caution that it is certainly a book 2 and do not read this out of order as there could be moments of severe confusion as the wonderfully developed world picks up and isn’t repeated information wise (which is great if you’ve read the first so you aren’t trudging through old information). I think the plot in this book really stepped up the game. It forced the characters to show all sides of themselves as Sera makes decisions for them all. I found myself much more drawn into this chapter in the story. It also has a great twist with Bishop and Sera that I absolutely loved.

Overall this book was superior to the first and I did notice the editing things were cleaned up as well!

Characters: The characters felt a little stand still to me in terms of development but more time with Bishop made me enjoy him more. There is a new chemistry with Turner of course that added realism and even a sense a love triangle could really be forming. However, the fantasy was still the primary element in the story. ( )
