The book does not only offer the reader a wonderful story about the little girl Barbara and her imaginary twin-sister Lalla-Lee, moreover every new page gives nice illustrations made by Hans Arnold. To my mind, many children (as I did always) wish to have a twin sister or twin brother with whom they can always play and they do not have any problems with. Just like Barbara does in this book. It is very interesting how children can imagine something. I wish I still could things as if they were real. ( )

I pretty enjoyed the story about a little girl called Barbara who flights into a fantasy world in which she has a twin-sister who loves her more than everything else. They experience the most adventurous things together as riding on their golden horses through an enchanted forest. But one day, Barbara has to say goodbye to her beloved imaginary sister.
This story perfectly shows the never-ending imagination of children and how they can enjoy themselves even without siblings or real friends. ( )
