I've always liked Helena Wayne more than Helena Bertinelli (I know, not a popular opinion), so I've been waiting for this TPB for forever, and I really, really liked it.

This TPB takes place five years after they (Helena and Power Girl aka Karen) got bounced to 'our' dimension from their Earth 2. It takes place both in current time, as well as flashbacks to them when they had just arrived too. They go up against a villain called Hakkou in Tokyo. They don't know why he does what he does, but both Karen and Helena wonder if he has some connection to Earth 2.

My favorite story of the TPB though, wasn't the main story (although it was cool), but, the Robin/Earth 2 issue titled 'Beginnings'. It told the story of when Karen and Helena first met, and it was awesome!! ( )

Adam's Review (3 Stars) : Power Girl and Huntress (originally Supergirl and Robin from Earth-2) have OKAY adventures in this initial Volume of World's Finest. The plot flows alright and the art is consistent. Overall, this title feels only like an establishment of two powerful female leads from pre-New 52 DC into New 52 DC. Power Girl is still buxom and flirty, Huntress is crafty and, much like her "Bat-family", relies heavily on the use of amazing gadgets. Nothing overly outstanding here, but also not bad.
I have read Supergirl Volume 3, which has an appearance (and costume change back to her original outfit that ALL comic book reading males know... LOL) by Power Girl so I know that these heroines will be showing their faces in other titles, but I hope DC brings some other DC ladies into the fold of this book to flesh out the title, moving it from "okay" to "outstanding". ( )

So much better than parent title Earth 2! I couldn't put it down. ( )
