This is a fun informational book because it teaches the readers how to grow and cook many different and unusually colored foods. These strange colored foods are unique but they are still the same foods we know and eat on a daily basis. Just because something is different does not make it bad for you. This book is very informative on planting, different types of vegetables, facts, and critter control. I enjoyed reading this book because it talks a great deal amount on gardening and I strongly believe students should be introduced to this material at a young age to have a better understanding of food. Another favorite thing was that recipes were added to the book and I love that children can get an understanding of cooking as well. This book gives you many different examples, illustartions, and "how to's" of planting various veggies and fruits in a garden. This book addresses all the unique types of plants that you can grow, such as, blue potatoes, purple string beans, and yellow watermelon. It tells you how to start a garden and keep it healthy. This would be an awesome book to have with a class that want s to plant a garden. ingen anmeldelser | tilføj en anmeldelse
