Such a silly little book, but it brought a smile to my face. Clearly meant for coffee tables and bathrooms and consumed in bits and pieces, the poems all have a single over-arching style and sense of humor. The same joke 'notes' were used over and over - doesn't work well reading in one sitting, but it is cute enough in small doses on its own. Repetitive and inoffensive, but sweet.

I particularly enjoyed The Leash, Forever, Chicken and Rice, and particularly The World Outside my House.

Kitten would have been far better were it uncensored. ( )

This is an adorable collection of poems written from the perspective of our feline friends. The book is broken into four topics: Family, Work, Play and Existence. In each section, there is a collection of poems relating to the topic.

The poems in this book are cleverly written to highlight the quirky personality traits of our four legged friends. From wondering why a human would be bothered by the precious gift of a mouse dropped on their bed to the experience of a love/indifference relationships with humans, this book brilliantly captures the perspective of the cat and keeps the reader snickering and nodding their head.
