The plot of Big Nate is simple.Like me he is a slob. When his friend Francis borrows a camera worth a ton of money Nate loses. This makes Francis end their friendship after Nate breaks the secret swear. The secret swear is a pact they made when they were little. They told each other a secret and promised to never tell anyone. If they did the other person could tell.Nate yelled that Francis's middle name is Butthurst.Francis borrowed the camera because he volunteered for the yearbook comitee. After all that it is shown that Nick Blonsky stole the camera. He was the yearbook's last year editor. When Francis gets bullied for his middle name and Nate tackles one of the bullies to the ground. After that Nate and Francis make up,catch Nick red handed and go to trivia slam.Nate is asked a question but the only reason he knows what it is is because he is afraid of cats.
I think Big Nate flips out is a good book.It has a good plot line. Its something that is relarable to the real world. It has a good ending that makes you want to keep reading the series. From the beginning of the book I couldn't pit it down.It has a very nice cast of characters as well. Not much can be said execpt one thing. This is a really good book. This book is good because it teaches us to be responsible around valuable stuff. ( )

I was shocked that this book had text interspersed with comics. It took a while to get adjusted to the format. Once I got over the shock, I loved the story line. The code was a treat. And for the first time in years, I was able to do the word problem in the story (note-the answer in the book is wrong). It is a great story. I loved reading it over and over again. ( )
