This story has two main characters, a young boy and his Grandpa Frank. Frank is a very old fashioned man, but he has experienced many adventures in his life. When the young boy finds out he has to talk about a family member in front of the class, and his only option is Frank, he is very saddened. Grandpa Frank tells the young boy that he doesn't like music, going to the doctor, getting his haircut, or current music. The young boy presents this information to his classmates, expecting them to be bored. Unexpectedly, Frank begins to tell the students his stories of being in the war and getting green tattoos with his buddies. The young boy's classmates are very intrigued by Frank and want to hear even more about his adventures. ( )
