(2012) Very good tale of the residents of an apartment building in Los Angeles. They discover that there is something strange with the building. As they explore each subsequent mystery, the strangeness expands exponentially to the point that it if found to be a buffer between reality and another universe. The building is keeping creatures from slipping thru to ?our? side that will destroy the world. This story is very much like Lost or Fringe TV shows, but the book's universe is limited to the building. Excellent read.

Fabulous, fascinating, different, wonderful. Really liked the characters, and the premise was intriguing. Totally bought into it and wow, would read another book like this in a second. ( )

I listened to this as an audiobook and it was very entertaining. I liked the way it built from "hey this is a quirky building" to a full-speed sci-fi novel. ( )

This is the best book that I've read in a long time. There's not much I can say without spoilers. If you love mysterious happenings and twisty turny plot twists, this book is for you. This book is insane in the best possible way and I love it. ( )
