I was gifted this book by the author in exchange for an honest review

5 Stars

Carol Rose is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. I have read quite a few of her books in the last few months and I am always pleasantly surprised about how much I like her books.

Meet Nicole:
A Chicago teacher who is out to save her father who plagiarized some of famous author Max Turner work by accident. (Or maybe accidentally on purpose I could never figure this one out). Nicole lands a job after a crazy interview as Max's typist in exchange for the plagiarism charges against her father to be dropped.

Meet Max: a troubled artist/genius who allows Nicole into his home and his heart. What began as just an agreement turns into so much more.

The entire book was just real to me. I felt like I was with the characters and everytime that Max pushed Nicole away I could here myself saying:

I would suggest this book to anyone who wants a romance (with a wee bit of angst) Carol Rose has once again surprised me with her wonderful work. ( )
