This one slipped back a little on the Tara scale of awesome, and I think it's partially down to the fact that it covers hardly any time at all. We're talking two weeks. I would've liked all this stuff to be spread out a little. We're made to feel like Mia is leading Kenny on for years, when really it's just a matter of days.

The Kenny stuff is another reason why I didn't like this third book quite as much. I found Mia too passive about it, and Kenny himself is just way too OTT with all his public declarations. I mean really, who does that?

On the upside, Mia and Michael finally got it together, yay. Of course, the problem with this is that there is no way they'll be happy from now until the tenth book, so now the pairing I've become invested in is going to crash & burn at some point soon.

Still very enjoyable, but I hope the fourth book slows things down a little and isn't so focussed on a tiny point in time. ( )

This book is about Mia's crush on Michael and makes you go aww. Book Michael is way cooler than movie Michael. I loved the ending, even though it is cinematic. ( )

Okay, Mia is infuriating. And more than a little dense. And also very selfish. But I like her, nonetheless. And all I can say is, I'm very happy for her in this book. Although I'm not sure it exactly makes sense to me. But whatever. ( )
