I really enjoyed this book, both for it's subject and it's writing style. I like Jim and I like The Doors. But I also fell a little in love with the author while reading.
Years after I read it the first time, I went back and re-read it before writing Second Best Fantasy. (https://www.librarything.com/work/12008258) to get that feeling of falling in love with an up and coming musician that she so beautifully pportrayed. ( )
