Founded on the ideas that 1) reality is not real and 2) language constitutes reality. So, if you change other peoples' language so as to match the reality that YOU want, then you can change reality. It just so happens that the author is advocating for a kind of language that is racist and sexist—but re-defines these terms so as to match her new reality that she and the Left wish to impose upon you. Read with caution. ( )

This book is pure unadulterated propaganda. The very title is a strawman. No-one is equal and never claimed to be. I am not even equal to myself from day to day. Americans simply believe that we should all be treated equal under the law. That's it. Equal opportunity, not equal outcomes. From start to finish, this book is preposterous. ( )

Excellent intro to sytemic racism/classism/sexism ect. Raises awareness and equips to take steps to recognize, call out, and understand responsibility to weild power to change systems of opression. Very eye opening. Not dry as you would assume a text book would be. ( )
