Everyone knows that the original tale of Goldilocks and the three bears was told from Goldilocks point of view. But in this re-tell the story is being told from baby bear's point of view. Sam is his name and he goes on to tell readers how he hates porridge. When Goldilocks breaks into the three bears house because little red riding hood dares her too. Sam and the two become friends, they help sam come up with a plan to show his parents he is is grown up. As a teacher in your class your can use re-told fairy tales to teach children how one story can be told in many different perspectives. ( )

This book is a rendition of "The Three Bears", but it is told from Baby Bear`s point of view. The story goes through the three bears going on a walk. Baby Bear gets upset that his parents continue to call him "baby bear" and not by his real name, Sam. He runs back home as his parents continue on their walk. When baby bear gets home, he finds Goldilocks has broken in on a double dog dare. Baby bear takes this opportunity to show is parents that he is brave and no longer should they call him "Baby".

This book is a spin off of the Three little Bears. The story is told by the three little bears. Goldilocks is taking pictures of herself in all of the bears stuff. Baby bear tells the story and is watching her through the window. This story is good for studying folktales. ( )
