The road to ballerinadom can be bumpy, but it doesn't matter if you take one giant leap or many tiny steps, as long as you are moving toward your goal." Vampirina joins an evening ballet class. The picture book does a good job of showing how much work needs to be put into a ballet class and how difficult just getting started is. It also has the added drama of Vampirina's vampire difficulties. I loved the illustrations I thought they were a good mix of campy and cute. ( )
