Piggie has a trumpet, and Piggie is very eager to show off for Elephant. Elephant is also eager to listen, but Piggie might have a bit more practicing to do in order to make music, rather than the series of hilarious, hard to listen to sounds that Elephant is subjected to. An ever-loving friend, Elephant is honest, but hesitant, to review Piggie. A sweet book about friendship, telling the truth, and communication. ( )

This is a super sweet look at the Elephant and Piggie friendship that would be a good read aloud and discussion starter about how to be a good friend. Since this is an early reader children can also discover the charming ending on their own.

Such a sweet and funny story, about honesty and being a good friend. ( )

So we had a Gerald and Piggy lost weekend and I really liked this one because the noises a trumpet makes when you're learning are RIDICULOUS and well suited to the kids' book agenda. ( )

This book is about two best friend one that is an elephant and the other a piggie. The piggie got a trumpet to sound just like his friend elephant. I like this book because it a cute story. I would use this book in my classroom because it would be a great way to start to learn how to read. This book would be good for the first grade classroom. ( )
