A documentary of the life cycle and ecosystem of the Saguaro cactus and the desert animals it supports. Fantastic book that covers a variety of facts about the Saguaro Cactus! It covers everything from what animals live in it, to its uses for humans, and even how long they take to grow, including how it works. Because this is an informational text, there isn't a lot in terms of literary elements, but the author's tone and style is calm and informational. I would 100% recommend this story, and it would be absolutely fantastic for a cactus unit. This is a book about what a Saguaro is and how it functions in the Sonoran Desert. It also tells us about what animals benefit from it and what they take from it. We also learn how the native americans harvest the fruit from the saguaro, how they honor it in their customs, and what parts of the fruit they use and how they use it. This book is meant to be an informational book to teach young children about how special the saguaro is in our environment here in the Sonoran Desert. ingen anmeldelser | tilføj en anmeldelse
