Fifty Shades Fri

Yes I am one of those people who gave each Fifty Shades book one star but read all three anyway. It was kind of like watching some car wreck over and over. It's horrible but you can't stop watching. At least I read library books and did not waste my money or contribute to James's huge bankroll. Needless to say that anything else that James ever writes will not be on my to-read list. ( )

Thank God that's over with. These got worse as they went along. The 1500-plus pages of these three books really could have been boiled down to about a 300 page silly romance novel. The "hero", Christian Grey is a control freak spoiled brat who throws temper tantrums when he doesn't get what he wants. The silly heroine, Anastasia, made ME want to strangle her in the red room, but for real. Even the sex got completely boring after a very short while. ( )

Glad they was some plot. Honeymoon, someone which was easy to guess trying to hurt them, rich in laws, multiple homes. Kept referring to adolescent shades but she just like him. So young and inexperienced about life but given every advantage. Ana was so impulsive. Marrying quickly, upper management job to start, fast cars. How would they have managed without all the security and staff help. Nevertheless envied the life she got, sexual drive for both at that age. Nothing new kinky fuckery. ( )

Ok, so I finished the third book. I enjoyed the storyline but did skip over most of the sex parts. I just found it repetitive and ho hum after reading the same old stuff. I did like the series other than that. ( )
