![]() Ingen Der er ingen diskussionstråde på Snak om denne bog. A Bill's Journey into Law is an easy to read, all-encompassing book about the process of how a bill becomes a law. While the premise of a child wanting everyone to have free ice cream on their birthday is a silly idea, the explanation that follows helps the reader understand the process to make that desire a law. I feel that the funny premise will invite and draw in younger readers, helping them learn part of the American democratic process. The content is a little dense, however, the fun illustrations and funny comments from the characters do a good job of keeping this book interesting. Overall, I enjoyed this book. I believe that this could be a great introduction to the process of a bill becoming a law in a civics lesson. ( ![]() From egg to caterpillar to butterfly, here is the story of how monarchs live. In her usual clear and concise manner, Gail Gibbons explains the wonder of these beloved and delicate creatures that can fly as high as 2,000 feet and migrate up to 4,000 miles. Bugs Beautiful and full of information. This book is incredibly realistic. That is wonderful! This book follows a Monarch butterfly through it's lifespan.
