Loved this second book as much as the first. ( )

Disappointing. I really enjoyed Transfer of Power (rated it five stars), so I decided to read the one before in the series. However, this one did not have the suspense and action of Transfer of Power. There was too much tedious scheming. Also, I am willing to go along with a lot of suspension of disbelief in thrillers, but here I found the treachery to be too much. Some good action scenes, but not nearly exciting enough overall. ( )

Segunda de la serie de Rapp, venía muy bien pero me parece que el autor puso mucha levadura y luego tuvo que terminar la novela demasiado rápido para todas las tramas que jugaban. A Rapp le ponen un anzuelo y muerde en Paris, y allí comienza la cacería para ver quien lo traicionó. ( )

I entered this book after I read it. It started with a prologue, and I skipped it. Last time I read a prologue from this series, it was a spoiler! Hate that. This book reminded me of the bad Tom Clancy Jack Ryan Jr books. Jack Ryan Jr has magic where every decision he makes works out. I don't like it in those books. I am impressed with Vince Flynn because he pulls it off. Good stuff.

Ok novel, in the sense it presents Rapp to us, but even here, in the begining of the saga, he is absolutely infallible, as he cntinues to be in all the future books.
