Secondo me la storia non riesce a trasmettere il messaggio che voleva. Alla fine il pesciolino nuovo viene accettato solo perché ha fatto pena ad uno del gruppo ( ) Summary: Rainbow Fish to the Rescue is about Rainbow Fish and all of his friends playing tag under the sea. A new little fish swims up and wants to play with them too, but because he doesn't have a shiny scale like the rest of them he is not allowed to play. Later a shark comes to where they are all swimming and the little fish is in danger and Rainbow fish saves him. By the end of the story they recognize that just because he doesn't have a shiny scale doesn't mean he can't be their friend. Personal Reaction: Rainbow fish did not care what the other fish thought and he helped save the little fish, I feel like this is something that I can relate too because I have always been the person that is open to being friends with everyone. Classroom Extension: 1. I would have the kids pick an exotic fish from the ocean and do a report over the one that they chose. 2. Teach a lesson over the importance of kindness to all students. I liked this book for many reasons. First, the illustration were eye-grabbing, and included textured pictured to enhance the story. For example, the shiny scale on the fish were a shiny piece of paper. This allows for the readers to better visual the shiny part on the fish. Second, the message of the story was important for all young readers. The message was to include everyone. The rainbow fish was following the crowd and ignoring the fish without the shiny scale. I liked the message because it is important for younger readers to hear it and see an example. Third, also the language is patterned to help readers. For example, the author says, "They swam together. They played together. They ate together.' The patterned language will help readers when learning how to read, and also allows readers to hear a pattern during a read aloud. ingen anmeldelser | tilføj en anmeldelse
