This manual presents a sink or swim approach to learning Attic Greek. After reviewing the basics, one is encouraged to learn more advanced aspects of the language through selective translation of the great classics in the Greek tradition. It does a good job of inflaming the student's curiosity, and is infused with a very entertaining humorous element. It serves my purposes well, but, depending upon your goals, there may be drawbacks.
